EViaggio aims to support the development of electric mobility across Italy, making it easier for Users to get around and reducing the difficulties of moving away from traditional engines, by helping those travelling by electric car find accommodation with charging facilities:

    • you can filter by type of venue: Hotels, Restaurants, Campsites, Wineries, Shops, Swimming Pools and Gyms
    • you can view only the destinations that have been verified by their owners so you can be sure of finding the charging point you need
    • you can find venues in a particular area or along a route thanks to the advanced features on the page Map
    • you can filter them by connector type (Type 2, Type 3, Industrial 16A, CHAdeMO and many more)
    • you can filter for destinations that offer charging free of charge or by selecting services (spa, swimming pool, etc…)
    • you can filter them by the power of the charging point, thanks to the kW rating shown
    • you can filter them by the region, province or municipality so you can easily find the destination charger nearest to you

EViaggio collects reviews from this type of user, which would otherwise get lost among the hundreds of other reviews on Tripadvisor, Booking.com and other platforms designed for a general audience:

If you are a user travelling with an electric car and want to report a property with a charging point that is not yet on EViaggio.it, you can register and click the button “Add Listing”. You will be asked for some basic information, such as the name of the property offering the charging service to its guests, the type of charging point, the connector and other useful information for EV travellers. 

If you are a property manager who has installed a charging point because you believe in electric mobility, the procedure for adding your property is the same.
Once it has been approved and published by the EViaggio administrator, you can claim it by clicking “Claim Now!” on your property’s page. Claiming a listing is completely free.

If you are a charging point installer you can add your client to the list, helping them increase their visibility among this type of user. A charging point is an investment, but without visibility it brings no value And if you upload more than 10 destinations to our site, we will add you to our partners, with no obligation!

Why EViaggio.it

Far too often I have searched for a hotel or a good restaurant with charging, only to discover that the vague mention of “electric vehicle charging” actually referred to a charging point in a public car park near the property, or that by “vehicle” they meant only bicycles and scooters. This happens because on a portal designed for a general audience it is impossible to filter the reviews of those who travel electric. This lets the owner off the hook, as they are bound only by a single tick box in a pre-filled field, whereas far more information is actually needed.

That is how the idea came about for a portal bringing together all the hotels, restaurants and other venues with charging points, reviewed by electric car drivers, and giving owners the chance to specify in more detail the information about the charging point that matters to those who will actually use it.

What matters is driving electric and supporting green mobility for a CO2-neutral future of transport and more sustainable tourism.
